1. External Design
AD-86D’s aluminum alloy cabinet is classical black and silver and anodized to keep the surface polished and bright for long-term service. The front panel is smoothly curved into V shape and decorated with lake-blue display screen. The knobs and buttons on the panel or remote control are all made and polished in good color and texture. The sleek linear and curving design fits most rooms and bring good feelings.
2. Internal Design
The pre-amplifier part adopts the high fidelity op-amp, and the amplifier part adopts differential amplifying circuits and a total of eight TTC-5200/TTA1943 high power Toshiba transistors. Long servo motor circuit and appropriate negative feedback circuit is used to stabilize machine working, minimize distortion and improve performance.
A total of six filter capacitors are customized to fit the machine and support up to 57,400 capacitance, which perform good characteristics in voltage resistance value, temperature resistance value and capacitance value.
The dual-channel OPA1678 operational amplifier from TI company offers higher system-level performance over legacy op amps commonly used in audio circuitry. It achieves a low 4.5-nV/√Hz noise density and low distortion of 0.0001% at 1 kHz which improves audio signal fidelity. It also offers rail-to-rail output swing to within 800 mV with a 2-kΩ load, which increases headroom and maximizes dynamic range.
The NJW1194 is a 2-channel electronic volume with 4-in 1-out stereo audio selector and Tone Control. It performs low noise and low distortion characteristics with resistance ladder circuit. It achieves a -117dBVtyp low output noise, -120dBtyp channel separation and 0.5dB step for treble-bass volume adjustment.
The AD-1955 decoding chip from Analog Devices company supports 24-Bits, 192kHz sample rate PCM audio data.
