The Infinite S12 subwoofer is a built-in model, designed for home theater rooms and optimized for the Infinite 8 and Infinite 14 speakers. Bass-reflex model, it is equipped with a powerful 30 cm speaker.
Elipson offers the Infinite S12 built-in box a practical solution for reproducing low frequencies in a home theater room. Passive, this box requires the use of an amplifier to operate. Its admissible power is high, with 500 W continuous and twice the peak peak. Elipson has chosen a 30 cm speaker, loaded with bass-reflex with two circular front vents. Thus, thanks to a volume of a hundred liters, the box reaches the low frequency of 28 Hz, with an attenuation of 3 dB compared to the high-bass register.
The Infinite S12 subwoofer requires an installation depth of 22 cm and has a solid satin aluminum front panel. It can be installed in partitions and behind a transparent screen, without prejudice to its performance.For large rooms (> 50 m2) or those equipped with a large number of speakers (Atmos for example), the use of several Infinite S12 subwoofers is recommended.

Elipson Infinite 8 speakers and Dolby Atmos
The Infinite 8 speakers are compatible with immersive audio formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and Auro 3D. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend mounting the Infinite 8 speakers on the ceiling with the drivers facing the listening area. Your retailer will be able to advise you on where and how to correctly place your Elipson Infinite 8 speakers for an immersive listening experience.
INSTALLING YOUR FRONT AND CENTRE LOUDSPEAKERS
Recommendations for placing loudspeakers around your TV display.
If you have a wall-mounted flat screen display, we suggest placing the front left and front right loudspeakers at a distance of 50 cm from either side of the display and centring them with the middle of the screen. The centre loudspeaker should be placed as close as possible to the bottom of the screen, centred once again with the middle of the screen.
For the Infinite 14 speakers, we suggest mounting them horizontally and centring the tweeter with the middle of the TV display.
Recommendations for placing loudspeakers around an acoustically transparent screen.
To begin, we recommend installing the centre loudspeaker in the middle of the screen and the front left and front right loudspeakers on either side, a third of the way down from the top of the screen. Use the middle of the speaker as a reference point (or the middle of the tweeter for the Infinite 14) and line up the speakers along the same horizontal axis.
Make sure to leave at least 20 cm between the edge of the screen and the outer edge of the speakers. As for the subwoofers, try to ensure that their front-firing ports are not covered by the screen. For this configuration, we recommend removing the grills from the speakers.
